The Croatian dream team Eddy Ramich and Yannah Valdevit aka Eddy Meets Yannah are back with a brand new album. On their sophomore effort “Once In A While“ the gifted duo once again offers a joyful fusion of sophisticated soul, urban beats, future jazz and sweet pop harmonies. But to assure action satisfaction in the clubs they asked some of their friends to give the key cuts from the new album a remix treatment.
The outcome is this tremendously good EP with four exquisite tracks between deep house heaven and London co-op style.
On the house side of things both Simbad and Karizma contribute well crafted dub versions that will make your eyebrows raise and your body move. Karizma’s hand clap driven Kaytronik Dub of “U&I“ already got played by Gilles Peterson in a “My Kinda House“ mix on his Worldwide Radio Show! The Simbad mix is getting played by Atjazz, Karen P and IG Culture!
“Losing Wings“ features lyrics by notorious rhyme spitter Capitol A and a real catchy hook sung by Yannah. Fresh food for all you Bugz In The Attic fans. The remix was forged by fellow Zagrebian hiphop producer Koolade who worked already with legendary US underground MC’s like Masta Ace, Das Efx and El Da Sensei from The Artifacts. Check his single “Beautiful“ on ABB. Finally “Finding Right Tune“ comes up in the same vein. A personal favorite of Eddy Ramich himself!
