Force Inc. Music Works

“Force Inc. Music Works” was founded in September 1991 by Achim Szepanski. In the following 14 years the catalog was distributed through EFA Medien GmbH (or EFA), which went defunct in 2004, taking Force Inc. and other labels with it in its fall. Other distributors of Force Inc. in these years were DMD, PIAS (NL) and SRD (UK).

Since 2006 the Force Inc. label family (Force Inc., Mille Plateaux and Force Tracks) is again run by Achim Szepanski’s Disco Inc. Ltd. and distributed by Intergroove, Rough Trade and Discomania.
In 2008 the name and registration of the previous sublabel Mille Plateaux was acquired by a new owner, relaunching the label in 2010 with a new artist roster.
