Dum Records

Kim Rapatti started the Dum Records label in Helsinki, Finland in the early 1990’s.

Along with the Sähkö Recordings label from Helsinki which began releasing material around the same time, Dum Records helped define a trademark Finnish minimal techno sound which quickly attracted fans from around the world.

This sound grew out of a love for analog gear and a stark minimal production style.
